The winter olympics is a fantastic platform to teach your children and family stress management and self-esteem building techniques.  I have joined a group of 15 experts (nutritionists, dieticians, therapists, parenting experts, and more) to bring you two full weeks of winter olympic style tips, ideas, activities, family fun, exercise, relaxation, and nutrition.

I am adding my own Stress Free Kids spin to the group by showing you how relaxation and stress management can be incorporated into the spirit of the winter Olympics. Trust me the athletes know how to manage stress! The athletes know that they perform best when they are relaxed and confident. The winter olympics provides many opportunities for the athletes to visualize a positive outcome. Each champion knows the power of proper breathing techniques and how positive self-talk can contribute to an amazing performance or race. This creates an excellent opportunity to discuss how your own children can incorporate the same techniques into their lives. It really is that easy!
